How to install WhatsApp on a Windows laptop

WhatsApp is a well-established social media app used by billions of people across the world. It connects millions of users who like, share and send each other messages. You wouldn’t think that your mobile would be able to handle such a huge number of users. That is because WhatsApp has more than three hundred billion users worldwide.

As you may know, there are plenty of apps available for Android but how about we look at alternatives?

Some alternatives include iMessage and Google Assistant which are popular for their features. These two apps are very convenient and most people are addicted to these apps. There are several versions of WhatsApp from iOS to Android depending on the platform; however, I want this post to focus on macOS for now.

1-Whatsapp on Microsoft

Whatsapp on MS Windows 10 is an old version compared to its newer version. This is because the updated version doesn’t support all devices, especially some older OS which has restricted WhatsApp to only some mobile phones.

For example, when trying to download WhatsApp on my latest MacBook Pro I get an error message saying WhatsApp desktop can not run without permission.

>The same message applies to anyone on Mac with any version of OS X or iPad.

>I tried downloading it once but it didn’t work because it was asking for permission that never expired (the first update) even though I enabled the “Allow to Run as Many Apps as Required” option.

2-What you need to do is check if WhatsApp is working fine or not

*To start, open WhatsApp on your computer and tap the icon located at the bottom right side of the screen.

*Once the icon appears, select the chat interface you wish to use. If you still don’t have either an iPhone or an AppleTV then go ahead.

If everything works out then you will be given a pop-up that says the app is ready for installation. Make sure they provide the passcode if you can. Now install with the command prompt below.

*Click the play button and the installer will launch. When it launches, choose one of the available options in the dialog box then click Next. Afterward, it will give you a notification where it asks for your email address so enter it.

*Once you accept the email address it tells you it sent to it will activate the application automatically. Tap the Ok button now!

It should say that WhatsApp is installed successfully just after installing it. Check WhatsApp with WhatsApp Desktop.

Note that whenever you make changes to WhatsApp you must first uninstall WhatsApp.

3-How do I uninstall WhatsApp?

To remove WhatsApp from your mobile just keep them closed away and then

*open up WhatsApp and hit the menu button at the top-right to open the menu that opens up.

*Click Yes and then press Send on WhatsApp.

When you reopen WhatsApp, select the chat you wish to delete from the menu and then press Delete. A notification will appear to let you know WhatsApp is deleted from your mobile.

Now when you restart your device, WhatsApp will come back and connect with other channels.

4-The Best Way To Download WhatsApp

If you want to download WhatsApp on your windows laptop click the download link at the bottom right side of the screen.

As you can see WhatsApp has an alert when it reaches 50MB size; this will allow you to download its files to another device. Select the option if you only have one account or if you want to download multiple WhatsApp accounts.

There are many ways to convert WhatsApp files into PDFs and MP3s. In both cases, you simply drag files in a folder until you find one file that suits you.

Once you convert WhatsApp into a PDF file, you will need to copy it onto your PC. Then follow these steps and download WhatsApp on your new PC. So let’s get started.

5-How do I install WhatsApp on my PC?

To install WhatsApp on your PC you will have to

*first enable parental control on your device through Settings.

1-Open settings, tap on Control Panel, and then select Add/Remove Programs tab. From there tap Manage Controllers and then toggle Enable Parental Controls.

2-Once you have clicked Allow Controller to Lock, select View All Software > WhatsApp. Then a notification will appear informing you that WhatsApp is on the way.

Click OK and continue.

To finish off, visit the WhatsApp download page on Windows PC if there was only one account and select the one with the option you want to use. Tap Download and once you’re done, select Done. Your WhatsApp app should be downloaded instantly. Follow the instructions on the WhatsApp website to activate WhatsApp again.
